The Porcelain Seed lamp is made of thin porcelain and voided traces of seeds that were embedded within its cross section. Using the material quality of very thin porcelain that allows light to shine through it, the porcelain seed lamp gives an amber tone to the color of the light and makes it warmer, soft and diffused. The voided seed traces glow in a stronger hue and create a map of its process and seeded constellations. It comes with either the traces of rice or of barley and quinoa.
In our light construction we incorporate ready-made objects, lighting components and constructed elements. The lamps are fitted and assembled by hand in our studio.
