The Magus Dining Table is a sculptural piece of furniture. The table is constructed to the highest standards - Andrea Felice has handcrafted the table using traditional furniture making techniques including carving. It features a solid oak top, hand carved at the corners to create the impression of it floating above its voluptuous legs. The legs are wood turned with carved details highlighted by teardrop stainless steel inserts (designed by Andrea Felice and crafted by sculpture Simon Black using high pressure water inflation). The table has a velvet finish created by a hand applied wax technique. The table for sale is a unique piece, as it is the Designers Proof (Prototype) for the design. There is a limit to the edition of the Magus Dining Table of 9 pieces.

Artists Inspiration:

Andrea Felice offers creative furniture solutions. Creating contemporary bespoke and limited edition sculptural furniture, handcrafted to the highest standard. All work is conducted in our Deptford, London studio. We service a range of clients from private commissions & retailers through to architects and interior designers. Andrea originates from the village of Montegnacco, Fruili in north-east Italy (near Udine). Andrea’s Grandfather Riccardo Felice, was a multi award winning baroque master carver. And his father Enzo Felice a formidable furniture maker and former professor of cabinet making. Andrea originally set off in a different direction and trained as an industrial designer. But, with woodworking so ingrained in him Andrea turned back to his heritage in the early 90s, first solely carving and then furniture making. Relocating to London in 1997 Andrea went to work for some of the best furniture makers in town.
