Bracelet 2" W

Inspired by the very stained glass from which it is made. Reclaiming and repurposing glass remnants from old stained glass windows destroyed by time (as well as windows under construction) is very romantic and exciting. Also, I have always loved classic art deco because of its unique style and opulent nature. Supporting the black glass is recycled, hand painted leather. Soft, garment leather is a warm compliment and contrast to the glass components. The Blue Deco set of necklace, bracelet and earrings can enhance a turtleneck sweater or a plunging neckline. It is very bold and modern. The necklace measures 7" wide by 4 3/8" tall and the bracelet is 2" wide. You may provide your wrist size for a perfect fit. The bracelet fastens with 2 Line16 glove snaps. Black, to match the leather.

Artists Inspiration:

Jovana hails from Lima, Peru where she studied and taught art for 13 years before coming to the States. Fashion design has been her passion since she began making her own clothes as a teenager. The necessity to reuse and repurpose existing materials has conditioned her eye to spot interesting and unexpected components for her creations. Her current collection of jewelry and accessories is a great example of her adaptive style. She is inspired by classic designs which she translates into contemporary expressions. Though relatively new to America, Jovana has already had 3 articles published in Altered Couture Magazine in 2011 with another scheduled for later this year.
