This is an original painting. Painted in 2010, signed and dated on the back, and painted on all sides. It is ready to hang, with or without a frame. The medium is repurposed acrylic latex paint on canvas. Repurposed acrylic latex is house paint that would otherwise go to waste, and that I rescue from reject shelves before it is sent to landfills.
Undergrowth is a nice complement to Spring Forward, if you want two paintings for a room. Subtle shades of coral, peach, green and purple are covered with a web of ivory, creating a feeling of tangled undergrowth. This painting is a combination of techniques ; pressed, pulled and splattered.
