Artists Inspiration:

Leonardo Da Vinci said, "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." Jack Kerovac said, "One day, I will find the right words, and they will be simple." I love texture and touch. My paintings and objects reflect my infatuation with these two characteristics. From the materials I select, to the way I craft each piece; these two remain my focus. I prefer to work with organic pigments, plasters, glazes, and substrate. When the origins of these materials are organic, the appearance of the paintings evokes the essential quality of nature. Embedded in the reference to nature is the obvious juxtaposition of the inherent force, beauty, serenity, and silence.
