The Claylight Pendant Cluster is a composition of perforated egg shaped clay pendants, hung from a round clay ceiling plate. Each cluster will have a combination of symmetrical and a-symmetrical egg elements between 5"-7". The perforated clay creates a light drawing on its lampshade and projects light textures onto the space around it. The dot perforation create a starry night like lampshade and a Camera Obscura effect projected onto the space that makes the light textures coming out of the round holes to be shaped as lines or V shapes.
In our light construction we incorporate ready-made objects, lighting components and constructed elements. The lamps are fitted and assembled by hand in our studio.
