Old Bank District in Los Angeles has seen many conversions. The Los Angeles Theatre Center near 5th and S. Spring St was built in 1916, the one-story building was designed by John Parkinson a Greek-Re Greek-Revival style with lonic columns. It been known over the years as the Security Trust Savings Building, the Security National Bank Building and the President Trading Company. In 1985, the building was restored and reopened as the Los Angeles Theater Center, a venue with multiple theaters offering live theatrical productions.Matted and Framed.

Artists Inspirational Message:
My current project – City Recycled, looks at the rejuvenation of historic downtown Los Angeles, an area known as the Historic Core. Often photography looks at urban decay focusing on the demise of these grand buildings. I want to look at these areas in a positive light as they are being refurbished, creating exciting new structures for mixed use. Looking at the future, through the past
