This piece was created for a group show called Found at the Arena 1 Gallery in Santa Monica, CA. March 2010. The show featured work made from recycled materials. This sculpture is a blanket made out of recycled glass, with jump rings made out of recycled copper. Each piece of glass was slumped over a mold made out of a found skeleton key. The blanket was twisted when installed, implying that safety can be jeopardized.
