This award winning wall mirror in carved and painted cherry has spline reinforced miter joints at the corners, and ¥¥¥Ó thick mirror glass. The cherry is FSC certified as sustainably harvested. It can be custom ordered in other other sustainable woods, and can also be ordered in custom sizes. This mirror can be shipped easily via UPS. This mirror design has won multiple awards, including a First Place Award in the 2007 Vermont Fine Furniture and Wood Products Design Competition. in 2003 it won the Member's Choice Award and Judges' Second Prize Award in the show Around The Looking Glass, an exhibition of framed mirrors at The Wharton Esherick Museum, in Paoli, Pennsylvania. It has also been featured in numerous publications across the country over the past four years, including The San Diego Union-Tribune, the Palm Beach Post, and The Arizona Republic, as well as several blogs on design.

A true craftsman, David Hurwitz designs and builds contemporary furniture pieces, one at a time at his studio in central Vermont, using hand carving along with traditional methods of furniture construction and joinery. His work has been exhibited widely in galleries and museums throughout the United States, including the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, the Delaware Art Museum, and the Wharton Esherick Museum. His work is in public and private collections throughout the United States, and in private residences in Canada and England.
